As I sat on the deck at Olimpico and basked in the sun like a lazy cat today over chats and iced coffee, I could not help but sweat profusely -- imagine if I was an actual kitty sporting that fur coat? Any sudden movement I made all day, and I found perspiration seeping from my pores.
What is getting me through the heat are a few tricks to stay cool... drinking lots of cold water, dressing lightly and situating myself in front of a fan (we have a great one here at Unicorn!)
Here a few more tips to stay cool in this gorgeous Montreal weather:
I mentioned this already but parking yourself infront of a fan is great! Especially in a cool t-shirt, if you soak it in lukewarm water or in your bathing suit -- whichever you prefer!
Hosing yourself down.
Taking a cold shower. Brrrrrrr but great! Especially after you walk back out in the heat.
Treating yourself to a cool treat, ranging from watermelon, to slushies, ice coffees or a popsicle. Gelato anyone?
Going for a dip in a pool (don't forget to wear your waterproof mascara!)
Going for a bike ride in a scantily clad attire!
